The Rio Vista Water Treatment Plant is located at 27234 Bouquet Canyon Road, Santa Clarita, CA. The project generally consists of site construction, building construction, and equipment installation for a groundwater treatment system at the Agency's Valley Center Well. The work includes, but is not limited to mobilization, demolition, and site excavation; well pump and discharge pipeline modifications; water and drain lines installation; owner furnished equipment installation for ion exchange system (pressure vessels, pipes, etc.), cartridge filter system, and chemical storage/feed system; building construction; retaining wall construction; electrical work; system start-up including owner furnished ion exchange resin coordination and system flushing; and all associated work ("Work") as indicated in the Contract Documents. Pursuant to the Section 1770, et seq. of California Labor Code, the Contractor and all subcontractors shall pay not less than the prevailing rate of per diem wages as determined by the Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations and comply with all applicable Labor Code provisions, which include, but are not limited to the employment of apprentices, the hours of labor and the debarment of contractors and subcontractors.
