Renovation of a municipal facility in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Replacement and installation of two passenger elevators located at the Manitoba Legislative Building. It is anticipated that one elevator (designated as Elevator 2, located in the NW quadrant of the building) will require modernization. The other elevator (designated as Elevator #6, located in the library) will require replacement of everything other than the cab, as this elevator is currently operating on DC power. The intent is to switch Elevator 6, to an AC powered elevator while keeping the historic cab. TIMELINE: Plans complete. Project is on indefinite hold. When the project is approved to move forward to construction a tender will be publicly issued. Coverage has been discontinued at this time.
