Reference number : 1605898 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-06-01 Submission sent electronically accepted: Nope The OMHM is issuing a public call for tenders for the repair of the roof of two (2) buildings at Habitations Barclay located at 4680 and 4760, avenue Barclay in the borough of Cote-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de- Thanks to Montreal. The contract will be awarded to the bidder who submitted the lowest compliant bid for the entire project. The project consists of carrying out all work in accordance with the contract documents. Without limitation, the scope of work includes: Architectural work, including: The repair of the waterproofing of the roof; Replacement of the flashing, roof accessories, connection boxes (evacuation) as well as the addition of an antenna base; The creation of access to the roof by adding an access ladder from the rear passageway; General coordination of work involving subcontracting (access ladder and others) Mechanical work, including: Intervention on the evacuation ducts; Cleaning of dryer exhaust ducts from the roof; The work will be carried out in two (2) buildings of three (3) floors each, built in 1950 and comprising seven (7) and ten (10) apartments respectively. The structure of the buildings is of a steel and wood frame and the outer envelope is made of bricks. A passageway is present at the back of the buildings and provides access to the roof. The roofs are made of asphalt-gravel dating from 1993. The apartments will be occupied during the works. Works duration According to the current schedule, work is expected to begin around August 2022, but this date could be changed by the OMHM. In such a case, the modification cannot be used to justify a request for an extra from the successful bidder. The work must be carried out within a maximum period of twelve (12) consecutive weeks from the date confirmed for the start of the work in the letter of engagement . Bid bond 10% is required. Performance bond and materials and services of each corresponding 50% is required.
