Site work and renovation of a municipal facility in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 6,374-square-foot municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The work includes all material, labor, and equipment necessary for the renovation of 6,374 SF of office space adjacent to bulk archival storage along with all of the associated site work. This bid consists of four prime contracts consisting of General Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical. Bid Security in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bidder's maximum bid is required to accompany the Bid. A performance and payment bond, each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price shall be required from the Successful Bidder. The Contract is subject to the Prevailing Minimum Wage Determination established by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Labor and Industry. Bids shall be submitted only on the provided Bid Form included in the Bidding Documents. While Bidders may make comments to clarify their bid, Bidders cannot change, modify, delete, alter, amend, or make additions to the wording to any of the Bidding Documents, including but not limited to the Contract. Unauthorized conditions, exceptions, limitations, or provisions attached to a Bid may be cause for rejection of the Bid. Any questions regarding the Bidding Documents shall be submitted as Requests for Interpretation to Mark Weaver at mweaver@noelkerhull.com. The Bidding Documents may only be modified by Addendum issued prior to the Bid opening date. The County of Franklin Commissioners reserve the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any or all defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in a Bid or the Bid Procedure and to accept any Bid it deems to be in the best interests of the County of Franklin. Delivery under this Project and Contract shall be fully and finally completed no later than October 8, 2021, except as may be mutually extended by Owner and Contractor. The work of this project is defined by the Contract Documents. The summary of work can be found within Section 011000 of the Franklin County Judicial Center Archives Building Renovations Phase 2 Project Manual, titled Summary. 2.2 The work of this contract shall be completed by four Prime Contractors. See Section 011200 of the Franklin County Judicial Center- Archives Building Renovations Phase 2 Project Manual titled Multiple Contract Summary for the responsibilities of each Prime Contractor in greater detail. Contractor shall pay for and provide all materials, labor, furniture, furnishings and equipment, tools, installation equipment, transportation and other services necessary for the proper completion of the work. 2.4 Contractor shall comply with all rules, regulations, laws, etc. of any public or private authority bearing on the performance of his work.
