Site work for a water / sewer project in Conroe, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project is located south of the intersection of SH 242 and Harper's Trace, Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 95, Montgomery County, Texas. To access the site, proceed east from the intersection of I-45 and SH-242, approximately 1.7 miles, south along Harper's Trace, approximately 0.43 miles, and then east along Preserve Way, approximately 0.1 miles. The electronic and physical bids will be publicly opened and read on the conference call. Bids will not be accepted by email. For construction contracts $50,000 and over but less than $250,000, the bidder shall submit a certified or cashier's check on a responsible bank in the State equal to two percent (2%) of the maximum total bid amount. For construction contracts over $250,000, the bidder shall submit either a 2% certified or cashier's check or five percent (5%) bid bond of the maximum total bid amount. Make the cashier's check or bid bonds payable to the Owner. Bidder must be capable of executing a satisfactory performance bond and payment bond for 100 percent (100%) of the contract sum in accord with the conditions of the contract. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. There will be NO pre-bid conference for this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any or all irregularities. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 90 days from the date bids are opened.
