Renovation of a municipal facility in Columbia, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 111,200-square-foot, six-story above grade municipal facility.
Remove existing modified bitumen and asphalt roof system. Demo and remove pre-existing skylights, curbs and vent piping. Install all new single-ply thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roof system. Scope includes installing new lightning protection system, metal flashing over parapet wall, and repairing mortar joints on 6th floor. Some asbestos material will require abatement. Construction Cost Range - $700,000 to $900,000. Bid Security is required in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. The Successful Contractor will be required to Provide Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract Price.
