Conversion of the existing high purity oxygen UNOX tanks to fine bubble aeration system will be required to facilitate the MBR retrofit. Upgrading the stand-by power supply and hydro sub-station infrastructure is required prior to the implementation of the fine bubble aeration system. The 2019 Wastewater Treatment Master Plan (WWTMP) also identified the need for a peak flow attenuation tank to address wet weather flows, and an additional primary digester to meet the WwTF's current 76 MLD requirements.
