Broken Arrow Municipal Authority (owner) is accepting bids for the supply of meter boxes, meter box lids and meter connection accessories for the expansion of the drive by Automated Meter Reading (AMR) drive by system in the City of Broken Arrow, OK. The various types and sizes of meter boxes, meter box lids, cutoff valves and other accessories shall be utilized by field crews during the meter change out/retrofit project. A Bidder's Surety Bond or a Cashier's properly Certified Check upon a bank or trust company must accompany each proposal for an amount equal to approximately five percent (5%) of the total bid made payable, without reserve, to the Broken Arrow Municipal Authority. All such checks or bonds will be returned promptly to the Bidders after the Contract is awarded, except the check or bond deposited by the successful Bidder. Such check or bond will be promptly returned when the successful Bidder executes the Contract and furnishes the required security within the time provided. No Bid will be considered, which is not accompanied by said certified check or bond. The certified check or bond shall be deposited on a guarantee that the Bidder if successful, will enter into a contract. Phase III of the project is expected to replace/retrofit about 12,000 more water meters with sizes ranging from 3/4 " to 4". The target date for completion of Phase III project is June 30, 2022. BAMA shall be procuring materials bid and accepted under this proposal up to June 30, 2022. The successful bidder shall be required to honor the bid prices until June 30, 2022. All bids received for the supply of meter boxes, meter box lids and meter connection accessories shall be evaluated and forwarded to OWRB for their review and approval. Upon OWRB approval, BAMA shall award the bid to one responsive bidder at the next scheduled meeting. All bidders are required to hold their bid prices for sixty (60) days. The bidder contracted with BAMA to supply meter boxes and meter connection accessories for the expansion of the AMR project must hold their prices for all items bid until June 30, 2022. The Broken Arrow Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and accept the bid that is the most advantageous to BAMA in accordance with the Oklahoma Competitive Bidding Act. Contract is to be awarded to the lowest responsive responsible bidder. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding. Conditional bids shall not be accepted
