To provide implementation of recovery measures that include construction of a compacted earth berms as part of a multi-site stabilization project located in Craven County. The Work anticipated for this contract includes repair/restoration of streambanks/bluffs at 42 locations adjacent to the Neuse River in Craven County, NC. The projects generally include providing earthwork, sub-grade preparation, and shaping to restore the contour of the eroded streambanks/bluffs to a uniform finished 2H:1V grade. The final prepared slope of each shall be provided with a vegetative groundcover and jute erosion control blanket for final stabilization. Transportation to the construction sites will not be provided by the County. Access to the sites can only be provided when escorted by a Craven County representative. Contractors providing responses shall be licensed and responsible for complying with North Carolina laws, regulations, and local ordinances. The Craven County Board of Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any and all responses to the Request for Proposal, and to accept any responses which in its opinion may be in the best interest of Craven County.
