Turf establishment This project has a 5 % Targeted Group (TG), Economically Disadvantaged (ED), and Veteran-Owned (VO) Small Business (TG/ED/VO) subcontracting goals Time of Completion Requirements 1. Substantial Completion of Salt Storage Shelter No. 21635 shall be achieved on or before 1 October 2021. 2. Substantial Completion of the remaining Phase 1 work as outlined in Specification Section 01 1001 Phasing Requirements shall be achieved on or before 1 March, 2022. a. Upon Certification of Substantial Completion of Phase 1 work, the Contractor shall achieve Final Completion of the Substantial Completion Punchlist items within a maximum of 30 calendar days. b. Milestone 1) Phase 1 Sitework: Provide removals, excavation, backfill and compaction as outlined in Division 31-32 and civil plan sheets not later than 1 September 2021. 2) Phase 1 Utilities: Provide installation of electric utility, water utility and sewer utility not later than 15 September 2021. 3) Phase 1 Paving: Provide bituminous paving not later than 1 October 2021. 2. Substantial Completion of the Phase 2 work as outlined in Specification Section 01 1001 Phasing Requirements shall be achieved on or before 1 July, 2022. a. Upon Certification of Substantial Completion of Phase 2 work, the Contractor shall achieve Final Completion of the Substantial Completion Punchlist items within a maximum of 30 calendar days. A maximum of an additional 45 calendar days will be allowed for contract closeout. Prime Contractor Responses must be submitted and received in the Quest CDN Plan Room no later than 3:00 pm on January 12, 2021. Sub Contractor Responses must be submitted and received in the Quest CDN Plan Room no later than 1:30 pm on December 29, 2020 The contractors compliance with MN Statutes, Section 363A.36 and part 5000.3520 shall be based on its implementation of the equal opportunity clause, specific affirmative action obligations required by the specifications in part 5000.3540, and its efforts to meet the goals established for the geographical area where the contract resulting from this solicitation is to be performed. The hours of minority and female employment and training must be substantially uniform throughout the length of the contract, and in each trade, and the contractor shall make a good faith effort to employ minorities and women evenly on each of its projects. The transfer of minority or female employees or trainees from contractor to contractor or from project to project for the sole purpose of meeting the contractors goals shall be a violation of the contract, MN Statutes, Section 363A.363 and part 5000.3520.
