Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
BASE BID 1: EXTERIOR AREA-1--- GRIND AND CAP 1. The OC Fair will remove and reinstall 14 concrete car stops 2. The contractor will need to grind 7,142 square feet at 2 inches down and haul all grinding off site 3. Install 7,142 square feet at 2 inches thick of 1/2 to fine asphalt hot rock 4. Contractor will restripe the 20 ADA stall, 12 ADA cross hatches in blue paint and one stop with line in white AREA-2 --CONCRETE, CAP, OVERLAY 1. Saw cut 342 linear feet of asphalt 2. Remove 5 feet wide x 178 feet long at 6 inches thick of asphalt 3. Remove 2 inches of base for a total of 8 inches down 4. Remove 6 feet x 6 feet at 8 inches thick concrete corner of a v-ditch and haul off site 5. Compact sub base to 95% or greater 6. Form 4 feet wide x 178 feet long and 8 inches thick 7. The corner of the concrete v-ditch 5 feet x 5 feet that was removed will need a. 2 x 1/2 inch by 12 inches rebar dowels epoxied in on both sides b. (2) sticks of 1/2 rebar running the length of the 178 feet c. pour concrete at 3,500 psi v-ditch i. drain downhill and with no bird baths 8. Pull forms and install 6 inches wide x 8 inches depth 178 feet long on both side of fresh poured v-dich 9. Grind 18 inches x 427 feet long around area for over lay and cracked out area 10. Cap 18 inches x 210 feet of 1/2 inch to fine hot rock asphalt mix 11. Add tack to the fresh grinded corners and overlay 3023 square feet of 1/2 inch to fine asphalt AREA - 3 --R&R 1. There are two areas next to each other, 27 feet x 15 feet 17 feet x 28 feet 2. Saw cut both areas at 174 linear feet 3. Remove 2 1/2 inches of asphalt in both areas 4. Remove 2 1/2 inches of base in both areas 5. Remove 9 inches of sub base soil in both areas. 6. Compact subgrade in both area to 95% or greater 7. Install 2 lifts of road base at 4 inches per lift and compact with water in both areas 95% 8. Install asphalt in both areas with first lift at 3 inches with 3/4 inch hot rock asphalt, second lift at 3 inches with 1/2 to fine hot rock asphalt AREA - 4 --grind & cap 1. At the tip of the concrete v-ditch it will need to be grid down 2 inches (2 feet x 5 feet) and caped with 1/2 to fine hot rock asphalt AREA - 5 ---R&R 1. There is one area 22 feet x 15 feet 2. Saw cut 74 linear feet 3. Remove 2 1/2 inches of asphalt 4. Remove 2 1/2 inches of base 5. Remove 9 inches of sub base soil 6. Compact subgrade to 95% or better 7. Install 2 lifts of road base at 4 inches per lift and compact with water 8. Install asphalt with first lift at 3 inches with 3/4 inch hot rock asphalt, second lift at 3 inches with 1/2 to fine hot rock asphalt AREA- 6---R&R 1. There is one area 19 feet x 59 feet. 2. Saw cut 156 lines feet. 3. Remove 4 inches of asphalt. 4. Remove 4 inches of base. 5. Remove 6 inches of sub base soil. 6. Compact subgrade to 95% or better. 7. Install 2 lifts of road base at 4 inches per lift and compact with water. 8. Install asphalt with first lift at 3 inches with 3/4 inch hot rock asphalt, second lift at 3 inches with 1/2 to fine hot rock asphalt. Project Start- January 8, 2021 Completion and Close-Out - January 20, 2021
