Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; road / highway; water / sewer project; and for outdoor lighting for a road / highway.

DA 845 The work consists of intersection improvements which aim to improve pedestrian circulation and vehicle safety in the vicinity of the Burlingame Caltrain Station. Improvements include; construction of sidewalk, curb, gutter, driveways, curb ramps, excavation of existing asphalt concrete roadways, grading, paving, signing, striping, stormwater treatment installation, landscape, irrigation, lighting, traffic control, and other items or details which are required by the Plans, Standard Specifications and the Special Provisions.the project is located at the intersection of burlingame avenue and east lane. this project is aimed to enhance pedestrian accessibility by incorporating a sidewalk extension and shortened crosswalks. curb extensions will also be constructed as traffic calming measures. scotts vallet additional scope of work includes concrete improvements, including sidewalk, curb ramp, curb and gutter replacement, driveway replacement, utility adjustments, thermoplastic pavement striping, street lighting, landscaping, bioretention, roadway excavation, asphalt grinding, asphalt installation, and storm drain infrastructure Special Provisions, Specifications and Plans, including prevailing wage rates to be paid in compliance with Section 1773.2 of the California Labor Code and related provisions, may be inspected in the office of the City Engineer during normal working hours at City Hall, 501 Primrose Road, Burlingame, California, and are also available for review at the State of California Department of Industrial Relations' Website. The Contractor shall possess a Class A license or combination of C-8 and C-12 prior to submitting a bid. No contractors and subcontractors may be listed on the bid proposal for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.5(a)]. All contractors and subcontractors will be required to furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner (aka Division of Labor Standards Enforcement). All work specified in this project, shall include the base bid and alternate bids (if shown in Proposal), and shall be completed within 120 Working Days (WD) (one-hundred twenty working days) from date of the Notice to Proceed.
