Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Silverdale, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; and for the construction of a 10,993-square-foot fire / police facility.
The estimated cost range for this project is $6.1 to $6.5 million. Project no: 21008, 262021.019 This 24-hour operating fire station will be approximately 10,993 square feet in size and will include 4 apparatus bays, living and sleeping quarters for 6 personnel, a small public vestibule, and commensurate working areas for personnel. The bids shall include all Work pursuant to the Drawings and Project Manuals, and Addenda as may be issued prior to bid opening date. Part 1: Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue will receive Sealed Bids at: Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue Station 56, 6470 Seabeck Hwy NW, Silverdale, WA 98383, starting at 9:00 AM to no later than 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 20, 2022, then followed with a public opening and reading of the Bids at the above address for the following project: Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue Station 52 Location: 5328 NW Anderson Hill Road, Silverdale, WA 98383 Bid No. 2021-STA52BUILD-50-01 Part 2: Prior to 12:00 PM on such date, bidders shall submit bids on HVAC, Plumbing & Electrical subcontractor work listings. Shortly after 11:00 AM, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the day and hour stated above will not receive consideration. Part 3: Prior to 11:00 AM on January 20, 2022, within forty-eight (48) hours of the time and date for the Receipt of Bids, bidders shall submit Structural Steel & Rebar Installation subcontractor work listings at Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue Station 56, 6470 Seabeck Hwy NW, Silverdale, WA 98383. Shortly after 11:00 AM subcontractor work listings will be publicly opened and read aloud. Work listings received after the day and hour stated above will not receive consideration. Owner reserves the right to postpone the Bid opening. Any changes resulting from this conference will be made by Addenda following the meeting. To best comply with current COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, meeting participants are required to adhere to the following: do not attend if not feeling well or currently COVID-19 positive, provide and wear own personal protective equipment (PPE) including face mask, and maintain six-foot social distancing as feasible. This project is subject to meet Washington State prevailing wages rates. All work performed on the project will be subject to the approved wage determination rates in the bid documents.
