Ingham County (herein referred to as "County") solicits proposals from Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) prequalified and experienced engineering firms for the purpose of entering into a contract to provideprofessional engineering services for the 2021 and 2022Biennial Bridge Inspection Program. In accordance with the federal requirements, each bridge under the Ingham County Road Department jurisdiction is to be periodically inspected and the results reported in accordance with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), National Bridge Inspection (NBI) Standards, and Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) Bridge Analysis Guide requirements.The request for proposal is for the inspection cycle beginning in January 2021 and extends through December 2022. Any explanation desired by a proposer regarding the meaning or interpretation of this RFP and attachments must be requested to the Ingham County Purchasing Department, attention Bobbie Mayes at questions@ingham.org.Please do not call the office to ask questions or leave messages we are working remotely; rather, send an email as directed to receive a prompt reply.The deadline for submitting final questions is no later than3:00 P.M. on January 7, 2021.
