The Work is located at the Fitzgerald Creek Water Pollution Control Plant located at 260 Colemans Bluff Drive, Woodstock, GA 30188. The Work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing of the labor, materials, and equipment for the construction and start-up of the following:The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 900 consecutive calendar days, and the time allowed for final completion and readiness for final payment is 930 consecutive calendar days from the date of commencement. Additional interim milestones are identified in the Agreement. * Conversion of Existing Package Plants to Aerobic Digesters * Construction of new Aerobic Digester Blower Facility and Electrical Building * Construction of new Dewatering Building 2 * Modifications to Existing Dewatering Building * Conversion of Existing Aerobic Digesters to SBR Basins 5 and 6 * Construction of new SBR Basins 7 and 8 * Construction of new Flow Equalization Basins 3 and 4 * Replacement of existing Aerobic Digester blowers with new SBR Blowers for SBR Basins 5-8 * Installation of additional Plate Settlers * Installation of additional Filters * Modifications and installation of new UV Equipment * Replacement of Filter Air Compressor * Associated site work, including site civil, site piping, stormwater control, and site electrical work * Associated electrical, and instrumentation and controls for new and existing facilities * Associated structural work for new and existing facilities The time allowed for Substantial Completion is 900 consecutive calendar days, and the time allowed for final completion and readiness for final payment is 930 consecutive calendar days from the date of commencement. Receipt of any amendment to this Advertisement for Bids shall be acknowledged, in writing, and shall be submitted with the Bid. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond with good and sufficient surety or sureties approved by the Owner for faithful acceptance of the contract, payable to, in favor of, and for the protection of the Owner in an amount equivalent to five percent of the total amount payable by the terms of the contract or, in lieu thereof, a certified check, cashier's check, or cash in equal amount. Each Bid must also be accompanied by a notarized Non-Collusion Affidavit of Bidder, Contractor's License Certification, Statement of Bidder's Qualifications, and Security and Immigration Compliance Act Certification. Out-of-state corporations and other entities must submit evidence of authority to conduct business in Georgia as an out-of-state entity. Each Bidder must be a State of Georgia licensed Utility Contractor at the time of the Bid. The successful Bidder must employ and assign to the Project supervisory personnel trained and state certified at Level 1A - Fundamentals of the Georgia Erosion and Sediment Control training program. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, Certification of Contractor's Attorney, and Contractor's Agreement with the executed Agreement meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents and executed on the forms attached to the Agreement. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for ninety days after the day of the Bid opening, but Owner may, in its sole discretion, release any Bid and return the Bid security prior to that date. The Owner reserves the right to reject all Bids, to waive informalities and re-advertise.
