Renovation of an educational facility in Alton, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The purpose of this bid is to establish a firm, fixed unit price to furnish all materials for the removal and disposal of the existing boiler system and the installation of two new boilers at the Alton Central School as specified on the following pages. Disconnection and removal of existing boiler Disposal of existing needs to be included Encapsulate exposed combustible materials in the mechanical room by a double layer of fire rated wall board. Furnish and install two (2) 1,000 mbh output Dedietrich or equivalent boilers with lo-hi oil burners to address the following items: Stamped plansCombustion air improvement,Modify the venting for two boilers,New DDC controls compatible with Zigo automation from Siemens., Install a new LP fired Volume water heater.,Replace the existing mixing valve, with a lo-hi flow mixing valve.,All piping to be scheduled 40 steel piping with welded connections on sizes 2- 1/2 " and larger. Threaded connections on 2" and smaller. All threaded fitting to be cast. Domestic water connections to be type "L" copper. The Alton School District reserves the right to reject any one or all bids, or any part of any bid, to waive an informality in any bid and to award a contract deemed to be in the best interest of the Alton School District. Work to be performed between June 23, 2021 and September 1, 2021.
