Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Crapaud, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The scope of this work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: the supply of all labour, equipment, and materials necessary to completely replace the existing bridge structure with a new bridge structure. The work on this project shall consist of but not limited to: temporary bypass road construction and maintenance; temporary approach road construction and maintenance; traffic control; excavation; slope protection; environmental controls; asphalt excavation; cold plane and stockpile asphalt; reclaimed asphalt placement and maintenance; stream containment; demolition and removal of existing structure; concrete formwork and accessories; concrete reinforcement; cast-inplace concrete; precast concrete; precast concrete structure installation; waterproofing membrane; structural steel barrier; precast concrete retaining wall; gabion baskets; temporary bridge construction and eventual removal; temporary bypass road removal; temporary approach road removal; temporary sanitary sewer; permanent sanitary sewer; storm sewer; road work complete with asphalt paving; and all other ancillaries required to completely install the structure to the satisfaction of the Owner. Bid Bond in the amount stipulated in Schedule A - Schedule of Special Provisions. The Bond shall be from a surety company authorized to carry on business in Canada guaranteeing to supply a Performance Bond equal to 50% of the contract value, excluding HST, and a Labour and Material Bond equal to 25% of the contract value, excluding HST.
