Renovation of an educational facility in Roy, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Weber School District is inviting bids on the Roy High School Boiler Replacement. Project includes, but is not limited to mechanical work involving the demolition of the existing steam boiler, heat exchangers, steam and condensate piping, heating hot water piping, pumps, domestic water heating equipment, tanks and controls and the installation of new Hurst Series 40 boiler, heating hot water pumps and piping, storage tanks and appurtenances. The project also includes, but is not limited to electrical work involving the demolition of the existing electrical systems serving the boiler, pumps, mechanical equipment etc. and the installation of new conduit and conductors, variable frequency drives and disconnects for serving the new boilers, and pumps. The boiler to replace existing MUST be a Hurst Series 400 3-PASS SCOTH MARINE SESIGN WITH WETBACK CONTRUCTION. Capacities From 30 to 1500 BHP. 1004 to 50213 MBTU/HR Q & A deadline: Jan 08, 2021 12:00:00 PM EST A bid bond of 5% of project cost will be required. Liquidated damages of $200.00 per day if project not completed by September 15, 2021. The Weber School District reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any abnormalities during the bidding process.
