An engineering consultant has been awarded. The City of Oldsmar ("the City") is requesting Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified, experienced engineering consultants who are interested in furnishing construction engineering and inspection (CEI), Local Agency Program (LAP) administration, materials sampling and testing, contract administration, and control surveying for the Oldsmar Trail Phase 6 Ext. - Douglas Road from Stevens Avenue to Race Track Road. The City intends to select one consultant with demonstrated expertise in these services. There is no guarantee that any or all the services described in the RFQ will be assigned during the term of the Agreement. Any questions concerning the request for qualifications process, required submittals, evaluation criteria, schedule, and selection process should be submitted in writing to Kathryn Farrelly, Procurement Analyst, via email to purchasing@myoldsmar.com. Questions must be received, in writing, no later than 2:00 pm local time Monday, December 28, 2020 and will be answered via written addendum. Any questions directed to other staff members may be grounds for disqualification. The initial term of this Agreement shall commence on the Execution Date and remain in effect for two years. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses, to waive irregularities or technicalities, and to request re-submission. The City shall be the sole judge of the response and the resulting negotiated agreement that is in the City's best interest. The City's decision shall be final. Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this point of time.
