Site work for a transportation facility in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
Notice is hereby given that the City of Jonesboro is seeking letters of interest from qualified engineering firms for modifications to the at-grade crossing at MLK and the City-owned Industrial Track in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The funding for this project is from the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT). The work will generally consist of providing all engineering and design related services for the proposed improvements to the aforementioned city-owned industrial rail spur. Engineering services for the project include, but are not limited to surveying, geotechnical investigation, preliminary and final engineering designs that meet BNSF and ArDOT requirements, final construction plans, specifications, bid documents, and estimated construction costs. Consultant will also lead the effort to obtain all necessary regulatory approvals for the project. After a review of all letters of interest received, selected firms will be furnished a scope of work and requested to submit proposals for accomplishing the work.City of Jonesboro complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, FHWA Guidance and any other Federal, State, and/or local laws, rules and/or regulations. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
