The project consists of installing approximately 5524' of 8" DIP and 78 service stubs and reconnects. Fire hydrants and other appurtenances as show on the plans are also included. LOCATION AND SCOPE OF WORK The Project consists of one prime contract for construction of Guenther and Schroeder Road Water Main Replacement. Approximately 5,524' of 8" water main will be installed, with appurtenances. Eighty-Eight (88) water services will be restored. The Project is located on Guenther Road in Trotwood, Montgomery County, Ohio, from Little Richmond south to the City of Dayton border, about 4,000'. This project is also located on Schroeder Road from Guenther to the west where the road ends. The summary of the Work described in this Section is an overall summary of the responsibilities of the CONTRACTOR and the CONTRACTOR's relationship to the OWNER. It does not supersede the specific requirements of the other Contract Documents. In addition to the standards included in these Contract Documents, all work shall comply with the following: 1. Montgomery County Environmental Services Rules and Regulations, latest revision. 2. City of Trotwood Specifications, as they apply. CONTRACTOR's attention is directed to the requirements of the Sections of Division 1 - General Requirements. These general requirements complement the related specific work specified in Division 2 through Division 16 although Division 1 Sections are not directly referenced in the Sections of Division 2 through Division 16. All requirements of Division 1 through Division 16 are binding on the CONTRACTOR and are not exclusive of each other. ENGINEER shall resolve all disputes and provide clarifications and interpretations as stated in Article 9 of the General Conditions.
