Renovation of an educational facility in Covington, Georgia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 84,501-square-foot educational facility.
The Walton County, Georgia, Board of Education herein seeks competitive proposals from general contractors for the construction of Renovations & Modifications for Walnut Grove Elementary School, Walton County Schools, to be located at 460 Highway 81 South, Covington, GA 30014 The Contract Documents require, among other things, the furnishing of all materials, labor and 5 equipment for construction of the Project. The Board reserves the right to make available other relevant documents or information concerning the Project. Any Proposal must include a fully executed Bid Bond in the amount of five percent 12 (5%) of the proposed lump sum contract price (exclusive of any alternates and unit prices) in the 13 form required by the Instructions to Proposers. Please note that this walk-thru is not mandatory, however, it will be the only opportunity to walk the building as there will be no students in the building at this time during the Holiday Break. Due to COVID 19 there will be no additional walk-thru opportunities. Please email Tracey Moss, Project Manager, at tmoss@mssarchitects.com if you plan to attend the walk-thru.
