Demolition, site work, outdoor lighting and new construction of a stadium in Norman, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,414-seat stadium.
*As of April 10, 2023, construction is underway. All trades have been let. This is a new softball stadium for the University of Oklahoma Sooners. The facility includes 2,414 fixed seats, including chair back, bleacher, bleacher back, and drink rail seating. Premium seating includes four concourse suites and one private event space. Team spaces include an indoor hitting facility, team locker room, lounge, team meeting room, sports medicine and hydrotherapy room, equipment and laundry room, recruiting lounge, coaches locker rooms, coaches offices, an entry lobby and incorporated recruiting path, and facilities for both umpires and visiting teams. Stadium spaces include two non-cooking concession stands, six restrooms, press box, outfield terraces, and a natural grass field. The stadium will be equipped with LED field lighting, scoreboard, and distributed audio sound system. Questions/RFI to be submitted no later than 12:00 pm (CST) November 7, 2022. Final addendum (if required) will be issued on or before November 9, 2022.
