Response to questions/requests for clarifications issued No later than 1/15/2021 In accordance with the requirements of New York State Finance Law Sections 139 j and 139 k ("Lobbying Law"), the restricted period for this procurement is now in effect. Therefore, all communications regarding this procurement must be handled through the State University of New York's designated contacts only. Upstate Medical University ("Upstate") requires the services of an experienced Contractor to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs to Reverse Osmosis/De-Ionized Water Treatment Systems located in several buildings on campus. Scheduled maintenance consists of bi-annual visits addressing any noted filter change requirements during the visit not involving disinfection and with system sanitizing during the annual maintenance; including replacement of pre-filters, stage filters, and final filters, system cleaning as required, replace ultra-violet lamps, clean quartz sleeve/lamp housing, and clean and disinfect the RO columns. Annual sanitizing will involve moving equipment to several locations per schedule that will be determined in July 2021 for accomplishment during the month of August; flushing and verification of ozone levels with the approximate number of outlets listed below. Flushing/verification would also need to occur at various points in the system rooms. All applicable filters and UV bulbs would be changed at this time. A previous schedule is attached as Appendix B of this IFB for your reference. If a Question and Answer period is provided for this solicitation, the schedule will be shown on the Summary Information Form, "Key Events," provided on the first page of this IFB. All questions must be submitted in writing, citing the particular IFB page, section, and paragraph numbers where applicable. Questions must be EMAILED to arrive no later than 4:00 pm Eastern time on the date indicated and should be directed to the Designated Contacts shown on the Summary Information Form. Questions received after the closing date for inquiries will not be answered. Only written answers are official. All Questions and Answers will be issued as addenda to this IFB and will be provided in writing to all potential Bidders. Pre-Bid Proposal Meeting-Not applicable.
