Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Toronto, Ontario. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Construction of a multi-use trail for walking and cycling between Park Road and Bayview Avenue in Toronto. TIMELINE: In December 2023 the project was put on hold at 90% design. The City re-engaged TRCA in December 2024 to lead additional redesign work, in particular along St James Cemetery. The City of Toronto requested TRCA to continue to manage the WSP contract, update the construction cost estimation and secure permits and approvals. WSP will act as the contract administrator, supporting the contractor that is to be retained by the City to complete implementation. Pending the completion of the design and securement of associated permits and approvals, construction is anticipated to start by Q4 2025.
