Site work and renovation of a civil project in Dallas, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project scope includes, but is not limited to, the following major work items: Relocate diversion point for Outfall 002 and install a new pipeline at the end of the chlorine contact basins. Furnish and install three (3) 30" motor actuated butterfly valves in chlorine contact basins 1-3. Demolish and remove all carbon adsorption equipment and media in Carbon Adsorption Bed No. 9. Convert Carbon Adsorption Bed No. 9 to dechlorination channel and Post Aeration Basin No. 1. Retrofit bed 9 with all hydraulic and structural modifications to convert to post aeration basin. Furnish and install one (1) new positive displacement blower with a fine-bubble membrane diffuser system at Post Aeration Basin No. 1. Furnish and install one (1) sulfonator in slot 7 in the Dechlorination Building. Connect to the common header leaving the evaporators. Furnish and install one (1) sulfur dioxide ejector and injection quill. Replace 90 feet of 20-inch pipe with 24-inch pipe. Reinstall existing transit time meter on the 24-inch pipe. Demolish and remove all equipment in the Carbon Unloading Facility. Remove the overhead piping and connect to the existing RCCP line underground. Fill in the Carbon Unloading Facility. Demolish the existing venturi meter at the Lake Remle Outfall meter station and install a mag meter in its place. Install an 8-inch rupture disc and associated instrumentation, piping, 8-inch butterfly valve, and 16-inch butterfly valve in the DCURD pump station. Furnish and install electrical and instrumentation. Furnish Process Control System (PCS) programming and testing. Questions sent by email or through online will be prioritized over those received by other means. Only responses issued via Addenda are binding. Proposals shall be accompanied by either a Bid Bond or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount not less than 5% of the total maximum bid price, payable without recourse to the Trinity River Authority of Texas as a guarantee that the bidder will, within 10 days after notice of award, enter into a Contract and furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond upon the forms provided, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, from a surety licensed to conduct business in Texas and named in the current list of "List of Certified Companies" as published in Circular 570 (amended) by the Audit Staff Bureau of Accounts, U.S. Treasury Department. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any immaterial formalities on inconsistencies in its sole judgment. Award shall be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder; however, the Authority reserves the right, after evaluation of all bids received, to make no recommendation to its Board of Directors regarding the award of any bid in the event non-responsive, non-conforming, or otherwise unacceptable bids are received, or if budgetary constraints or other unanticipated factors exist. No bid may be withdrawn until the expiration of 60 days from the date bids are opened. Additional notes about pre bid meeting Notes: The meeting will be held outdoors at the DCURD Pump Station. To enter the Central Regional Wastewater System Treatment Plant, there are new Authorized Entry List procedures: Anyone wanting to attend the Pre-Bid Conference must give 24 hours prior notice to Belen Campos, camposb@trinityra.org, 817-366-5260 cell, providing name as shown on drivers' license, company representing, purpose (Pre-Bid Conference), and time of arrival. Prospective bidders are reminded that all visitors attending pre-bid meetings MUST have masks, work boots, hard hats and safety vests in order to walk through the plant facilities and buildings. No exceptions.
