**As of February 10, 2021, the project has not been awarded. The anticipated award date is in the next Board of Education meeting that will happen in the last week of February 2021.** Bidders must hold a General Construction (#C008) or General Construction - Additions & Alterations (#C009) or Electrical (#CO47) Trade Classification from NJ Treasury Dept, Division of Property Management and Construction to be eligible to submit a bid for this project. Such proposals to receive consideration by the Neptune Township Board of Education, are to be submitted in strict compliance with the Public School Contract Law, NJSA 18A:18-18. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive immaterial formalities in any bid if deemed to be in the interest of the Board of Education. The Board of Education takes no responsibility for the punctual receipt of mailed bids. All bids mailed are done so at the risk of the bidder and must be clearly marked with the bid title and number. Bids must be made on the proposal form provided, as designated and submitted in accordance with a "Bid Bond" or "Certified Check" in the sum of not less than ten (10) percent of the amount of the proposal, not to exceed $20,000. Bidders are required to submit with their proposal, written consent of a Surety Bond, and agree to execute the required performance bond in accordance with the specification requirements.
