Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.

The Hoffman Estates Park District encourages minority business firms to submit on all Park District work and encourages all contractors working for the District to utilize minority business and sub-contractors and suppliers. HYRAULIC POWER UNIT Provide a new submersible motor power unit and oil system acoustic muffler. Isolation pads will be installed under power unit. Power unit shall be sized to suit the existing speed, capacity and operation CONTROLLER New controller will be a solid state control system of non-propriety design simplex collective operation with proven field performance HOISTWAY OPERATING DEVICES Replace "top and bottom" limit switches with new switches, designed to work specifically with the new control system. DOOR OPERATOR AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT Provide a new MOVFR (1/2 hp) door operator, utilizing closed loop self-adjusting circuitry with all associated equipment including car door track, gate switch, and operator clutch. CAR DOOR INFRARED PROTECTIVE DEVICE Existing unit will be retained. HOISTWAY INTERLOCKS Hoistway Interlocks will be new. HALL BUTTONS Provide new stainless steel fixtures. Surface mounted, mechanical buttons illuminated with LED lamps. Main landing station will include an LED digital readout of floor position. CAR LANTERN Provide new stainless steel, with visual and audible signals. The audible signal shall be an electronic chime activating once for the up direction and twice for down.
