The Corporation of the Town of Georgina (Town) is seeking bid submissions from experienced and qualified vendors (respondent) to provide streetlight repairs and maintenance services (work) throughout the entire Town. A visual database (GIS mapping tool) will be provided upon award of contract to the successful respondent (contractor) for location and type of each fixture within the Municipality. The Town owns 4,931 streetlights, consisting of mainly LED luminaires attached to either Cobra heads or decorative post top heads. The majority of LED Fixtures were installed in under the LAS _ RealTerm Energy program. All main LED Fixtures are CREE Models XSP1 and XSP2 (various wattages). Other decorative LED luminaires may have been installed through a subdivision servicing project, and may not be standard products such as Ridgeview LED and Valiant AVPCL2. This contract shall require the contractor to perform routine, planned and emergency repairs and maintenance of street lighting luminaires and associated devices (including poles, arms or other structures), as well as providing re-lamping services within the Town. This work shall include the supply and delivery of material, the provision of skilled and qualified labour, as well as any equipment required to perform related maintenance tasks to existing infrastructure and newly installed or assumed infrastructure by the Town throughout the term of contract. The work in this contract is further defined to include, but not be limited to the following; - Routine and emergency repair or maintenance of streetlights, electrical wiring (surface and subsurface), poles and other related devices throughout the Town; - Re-lamping and replacement of photocells when necessary; - Removal and replacement of deficient, deteriorating and/or damaged streetlight poles as needed - Maintain accurate records of streetlight maintenance; - Coordination with Hydro-One, E.S.A. (Electrical Safety Authority), and other agencies/companies regarding various works; and - Provide assistance and/or inspection services. - All work delivered in this contract must be delivered by Own Forces, meaning, the contractor's representative working on Town assets must be an employee of the contractor's company.
