C. 33, as amended by P.L. 2016, C. 43 (N.J.S.A 52:25-24.2) Corporate Disclosure, P.L 2009, C. 315 New Jersey Business Registration and P.L. 1999, C. 238, Public Works Contractor Registration and the 1963 Revised Statutes of New Jersey, Chapter 150, Prevailing Wages. The successful contractor shall be required to submit Certified Payroll Forms on this project. Each bidder shall be required to submit a Bid Security in the amount of 10% of their bid (but not over $20,000.00) with their bid. Each bidder shall also be required to submit a Consent of Surety with their bid. Proposals are being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with N.J.S.A. 19:44 A-20.2, et seq., and as such, contractors are exempt from the limitations on making political contributions under that law. Further, for that reason, as well as because of a language in the New Jersey's Annual Appropriations Act, refusal to disclose campaign contributions otherwise required by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.2 et seq. and 19:44A-20.25 et seq., will not adversely affect your consideration for award. All bids must be accompanied by a copy of the Contractors and all subcontractors registration certificates or applications for registration through the Federal System for Award Management (SAM). Upon approval of any pending applications for registration, the successful contractor and any subcontractors must submit copies of the approved registration certificates to the owner. SAM registration must be renewed and kept current during the course of the contract. Financial assistance for this activity is made possible by a grant in the amount of $359,576.00 from the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs, Division of Housing and Community Resources, New Jersey Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program, Philip D. Murphy, Governor of the State of New Jersey, Lt. Governor Sheila Y. Oliver, Commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs. Funding for the States CDBG Program was provided by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, State Community Development Block Grant Program. Due to the Public Health Emergency caused by the novel coronavirus widely known as COVID-19, the County must adhere to the regulations within N.J.A.C. 5:34-8.5.
