DEMOLITION ONLY. Remediate a modular classroom/dorm to remove interior finishes as indicated including gypsum board, lighting fixtures, ductwork, fire alarm system, and through-wall PTAC HVAC equipment in accordance with "Mold Remediation Plan" issued by Matrix Heath & Safety Consultants, LLC, including equipment, qualifications, pertinent licenses to perform the work, and dispose of the demolished materials properly. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. All proposals shall be lump sum. NCDPS requires that, for construction contracts with a value of $5000 or greater, the contractor shall comply with the document Guidelines for Recruitment and Selection of Minority Businesses for Participation in State Construction Contracts including Identification of Minority Business Participation, Affidavits A, B, C, and D, and Appendix E. Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent (95%) of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 60 days. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Demolition: The protection of structure and demolition of interior finishes and hvac, electrical and fire alarm systems contaminated with mold and their proper removal and disposal; removal for storage and reuse items as indicated in the Contract Documents; cleaning of remaining structure as indicated in "Mold Remediation Plan", Dated August 17, 2020, issued by Matrix Health & Safety Consultants, LLC; 2. Reconstruction: The rebuild of the interior systems and finishes, to include insulation, gypsum wall board, painting and coating finishes, wood trim, lighting, electrical panels, ductwork and reinstallation of owner's stored items. The time for completion of the Work shall be 30 consecutive calendars days
