The project also includes the installation of filtered, ductless fume hoods where indicated on the drawings. Bids will be received for single prime. All proposals shall be lump sum Electrical and plumbing modifications associated with the new and replaced fume hoods and exhaust fans. The Contractor shall commence work to be performed under this Contract on a date to be specified in written order from the Designer/Owner and shall fully complete all work hereunder within One Hundred Fifty (150) consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. For each day in excess of the above number of days, the Contractor shall pay the Owner the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) as liquidated damages reasonably estimated in advance to cover the losses to be incurred by the Owner should the Contractor fail to complete the Work within the time specified.
