Site work for a water / sewer project in Marion, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project comprises concrete repairs to the Pella Dam that have become deteriorated over time. The work consists of removal of the deteriorated and loose concrete surface of the two fixed crest Ogee spillways and areas of the upstream concrete support piers. Deteriorated concrete removal includes an old layer of shotcrete/granite approximately 2 to 3 inches in thickness covering the spillway surfaces. Deteriorated concrete shall be removed using mechanical means such as jack hammer and sawing equipment as necessary to chip deteriorated concrete away and provide a solid foundation for the repairs. The spillway repairs shall consist of a 6-inch concrete overlay repair and the concrete pier repairs consist of partial depth concrete repairs.
