As of January 6, 2022, an engineer has not yet been awarded. *The previous solicitation is listed below for reference. --- Provide Professional Engineering and Public Involvement Services for 484 HGL Zone to 520 HGL Zone Conversion. The Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility (AWWU) evaluated the operation of the water system in Eagle River in the 2012 AWWU Water Master Plan and the 2014 Eagle River Water Master Plan Update and determined that significant operational and financial benefits are gained by converting the backbone transmission mains in the 484 HGL pressure zone to the 520 HGL pressure zone. AWWU is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to render professional engineering and public involvement services to combine the 484 and 520 HGL pressure zones in Eagle River, Alaska. This project is anticipated to remove two pressure regulating valve vaults and a booster station. The pressure changes will also require modification to two booster stations due to the change in suction pressure for these AWWU facilities. The pressure changes will require the design and installation of an in-premise regulating valve (PRV) for the AWWU owned and operated Eagle River Wastewater Treatment Facility (ERWTF). This project is linked to future planned improvements and is required to be complete prior to the future projects being constructed. The Municipality of Anchorage is an equal opportunity employer.
