**As of April 23, 2021 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The work consists of replacement of existing submersible wastewater pumps and rails, existing pump controls, existing emergency generator, existing electrical power equipment, as well as existing valves and piping. Work also includes demolition of existing electrical equipment and the construction of new prefabricated fiberglass building to house new electrical and control equipment to be provided as part of the project. The new prefabricated fiberglass building will be located on a new above grade concrete foundation. The work also includes the rehabilitation of the existing wastewater wet well. The deadline for receipt of questions will be Thursday, January 7, 2021. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and NJAC 17:27-1 et seq. Each Bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent of the Bid, but not in excess of $20,000.00. Each bid shall also be furnished with a Consent of Surety meeting the requirements of NJSA 2A:44-143 et. seq. for furnishing performance and payment bonds on the forms provided in the Contract Documents. No bidder may withdraw their Bid for a period of sixty days after the actual date of the opening of the Bids. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond, a 100 percent Payment Bond, a Maintenance Bond, and an Environmental Maintenance Bond, with a surety company licensed in the State of New Jersey, meeting the requirements of NJSA 2A: 44-143 et. seq., and listed in U.S. Treasury Circular 570. Complete instructions for filing Bids are included in the Instructions to Bidders. Wage rates for this Project are subject to the State of New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (P.L. 1963, Chapter 150, NJSA 34:11-56.25, et seq.) as amended. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids if deemed to be in accordance with New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law, NJSA 40A:11-1 et. seq. This bid and contract is subject to New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law. Uniformed law enforcement officers will be required for this project. These bids are being solicited through a Fair and Open process in accordance with NJSA 19:44A-20.4 et seq. The Contract Time for completion of all work, excluding final pavement restoration, shall be 210 consecutive calendar days commencing on the first day following the Effective Date of this Agreement. The Successful Bidder must furnish a 100 percent Performance Bond, a 100 percent Payment Bond, a Maintenance Bond, and an Environmental Maintenance Bond.
