Additive Alternate A: 2,500 LF 4" PVC C900 DR-14 Water Line; 65 LF 12" Steel Casing (Bore & Jack); 2 EA Tie-in to Existing 4" Water Line; 5 EA Cut and Cap Existing Water Line. Per Section 436 of the American Iron and Steel (AIS) requirement, all metal used for the purposes of this project will be American Iron and Steel. The Work will be substantially completed within 240 calendar days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run and completed and ready for final payment within 270 days after the date when the Contract Times commence to run. Liquidated damages shall be $1,000.00 per day. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Cowen Public Service District in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Contractor is required to provide the Drug Free Workplace Certification in accordance with WV Code 21-1D-5. All Bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor's License per Section 21-11-11 of the West Virginia Code.
