Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq. GENERAL In general, the scope of this project consists of the replacement of water main and cured in place pipe (CIPP) lining of existing water main and sanitary main in the following locations: Oak Drive - CIPP lining of existing sanitary main Second Avenue - removal and installation of new water main including water service, complete Stonegate Avenue -trenchless repair of a defective sanitary main tap Fourth Avenue - trenchless repair of a defective sanitary main tap Evelyn Road - CIPP lining of existing sanitary main Lenape Drive - grout repair and lining of existing sanitary main All work shall be constructed in accordance with the Borough of Roseland and County of Essex requirements. The project is being bid as a Base Bid and Alternate Bid #1 as follows: Base Bid - water main replacements, sanitary main replacements, and sanitary main CIPP construction including fire hydrants, services, all connections and all miscellaneous appurtenances on the above reference sites and as shown on the contract drawings and specifications. Alternate Bid #1 - installation of water main via jack and bore technology on 2nd Avenue as shown on the contract drawings and specifications. Under this contract, the work on Second Avenue should be prioritized so that work in anticipation of roadway paving by the Borough. By submission of this bid, contractor acknowledges that he has the staff available to begin work upon authorization by the Borough.
