Demolition, site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Mobile, Alabama. Completed plans call for the demolition of a service station / car wash facility; for the construction of a service station / car wash facility; and for site work for a service station / car wash facility.
The proposed work will take place at several locations in Mobile County and will include building demolition, installation of pre-engineered metal shop buildings, associated site and utility work, with all trades incorporated in the construction contract. The total building square footage will be approximately 18,500. Six Hundred Ninety Five (695) calendar days are allowed for the construction of the project. Liquidated damages for non-completion of the work within the time limit agreed upon will be assessed in accordance with the terms of the Contract. Electronic images of bid documents may be viewed on-line at no cost through Alabama Graphics by accessing the esuite/e-distribution/ALGX . Paper copies of bid documents (full or partial sets) may be purchased through the upon non-refundable payment to Alabama Graphics. Partial sets will only be issued at the bidders specific request for particular documents and with the understanding that it is the bidders responsibility to have viewed the entire set of documents to determine what parts are required for him to submit a responsive bid. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the County Commission of Mobile County,
