Library upgrades. TIMELINE: The consultant was awarded March 2021 to provide a review for the Simcoe County Library Co-operative. The study includes an assessment of the value, services and structure of the overall County Library and Co-operative system; Identify redundancies, opportunities for any efficiencies; and determine the effectiveness of the Libraries, the Co-operative and their ability to meet the changing needs of our communities and residents. The service delivery review will improve the understanding of the services currently provided by the Libraries and the Simcoe County Library Co-operative, inform strategic decisions regarding those services, and explore the sustainability of services and the current structure over the long term, as municipalities seek to balance expectations with the cost of delivering services, and will form the policy for projects in future. No projects will result from this study. Coverage of this report is discontinued.
