Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Waverly, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

This project is the construction of youth baseball and softball park with associated underground utilities, parking lots and driveways. Project will be constructed in two phases. First phase will be grading and utility work and the second phase will be all parking lots and field installations. Soil disturbing activities will include: clearing and grubbing; installing a stabilized construction entrance; perimeter and other erosion and sediment controls; demolition and removals; grading; excavation for the storm management areas, dewatering practices, storm sewers, utilities, and building foundations; and parking lots, preparation for final planting and seeding; and installation of post-construction controls. Ball Field Installation and Paving The work to be done is as follows: - Furnish all labor, materials and equipment to construct the following: Ball field installation for seven baseball/softball fields and one miracle ballfield (including all surfacing, fencing, and irrigation systems), building foundations (for press boxes, concessions, dugouts, and restrooms) paving (for parking lots, sidewalks and trails), installation of an irrigation well, and all other work necessary to complete the project. Bids received will be acted upon by the City at the time and place below specified or at such later time and place as may then be fixed. Proposals received will be presented to the City Council of Waverly, Iowa and considered at a meeting presided over by the Mayor, to be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Waverly, Iowa, at 7:00 o'clock p.m., on the 15 th day of February 2021.
