Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Anahuac, Texas. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
This project shall provide for the rehabilitation of the existing wastewater treatment plant (WWTP). It shall include the construction of new units as well as repurposing of existing units. This project will generally consist of the replacement of the influent pumps; modifications to the influent stormwater pump station and piping; construction of an elevated influent headworks unit consisting of fine screening and grit removal; the construction of a 0.52 mgd sequencing batch reactor treatment unit including blowers; conversion of the existing treatment basin to a post equalization basin, chlorine contact basin, and digesters; construction of a new dechlorination basin and flow measurement basin; construct new disinfection equipment and controls; construction of a new sludge processing area; construction of two (2) new electrical control buildings; construction of new electrical, controls, and SCADA; demolition of existing structures; and construction of miscellaneous improvements such as yard piping, header piping, manholes, concrete slabs, site grading, drainage, access drives, and site roads.
