Renovation of a municipal facility in Pleasantville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Renovation of the Exterior Façade of the One Stop Career Center Located at 2 South Main Street, Pleasantville, Nj 08232 (Bid Bond and Surety Required) A site visit will follow. DUE TO COVID PROTOCOLS, MASK WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL ATTENDEES. THERE IS LIMITED SEATING CAPACITY TO ALLOW FOR SOCIAL DISTANCE, WE WILL LIMIT ATTENDANCE TO 1 REPRESENTATIVE FROM EACH COMPANY Selective demolition responsibilities included within the scope of the project shall include the following: 1) Removal of cementitious plaster (stucco) construction as delineated within the construction drawings and as required to complete the scope of the work. 2) Removal of existing roof copings in their entirety, and roofing accessories indicated within the contract drawings. 3) Removal of existing sealants as delineated and required to accommodate the application of new sealants. 4) Preparation of existing framed exterior wall construction as required to accommodate the installation of metal wall cladding. Preparation shall include, but is not limited to removal of existing framed construction indicated to be removed, and removal and replacement of deteriorated gypsum sheathing and cold-formed metal wall framing. 5) Repair, patching and preparation of existing wall surfaces as required to accommodate the proposed construction, and as required to accept the specified finishes. 6) Removal, relocation and reinstallation of existing electrical systems indicated and required for the performance of the proposed work. 7) Cleaning of the site. It shall be the responsibility of the contractor to completely clear the work area of ALL demolition debris. Cleaning of the site shall take place on a daily basis, with all construction and demolition debris, trash receptacles and containers removed from the from the site each day. 8) Notify the Owner and Architect in the event that hazardous materials are encountered during demolition operations, comply with applicable regulations, laws, and ordinances concerning removal, handling and protection against exposure or environmental pollution. 9) Protection of all existing improvements to remain, and not specifically designated for demolition. Damage to existing buildings, grounds and improvements resulting from the work of this contract shall be repaired and restored at no expense to the Owner. 10) Protection of the project site, including but not limited to the installation of barriers and guards as required to protect students, staff and visitors to the site. 11) Surrounding grounds shall be restored following the completion of the contract.
