As of February 16,2021 Bids were rejected. No plans of rebidding the project and will be completing the project with “in-house” forces . The Village of Libertyville (Owner) invites sealed Qualified Bidder's Proposals for the Wastewater Treatment Plant - Chemical Line Replacement generally described as follows: Removal and replacement of the chlorine dose (feed) line from the chemical building to the chlorine contact tank. CONTRACTOR shall provide all items, articles, materials, operations or methods mentioned or scheduled on the Drawings or herein specified: including all labor, supervision, equipment, incidentals, taxes, and permits necessary to complete the Work as described within the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR shall install all items provided by OWNER as mentioned or scheduled on the Drawings or herein specified. Work Included: 1. Coordination. 2. Field engineering. 3. Progress meetings If this Contract/Proposal is accepted, Bidder proposes, and agrees, that Bidder shall commence the Work within 10 daysfollowing Owners acceptance of this Contract/Proposal provided Bidder shall have furnished to Owner all Bonds and all insurance certificates and endorsements specified in this Contract/Proposal. If this Contract/Proposal is accepted Bidder proposes, and agrees, that Bidder shall perform work diligently and continuously and shall complete the Work not later than April 30, 2021 (Completion Date). Failure by the Bidder to complete the Work by the Completion Date will result in charges consisting of $500 per calendar day beyond the Completion Date, plus any incurred engineering, attorney or other applicable fees by the Owner.
