2021 University Roofing Projects. Corbett Hall Is a 3-storey building located on the North Campus of the University of Alberta, at approximately 113th st and 82nd Avenue in Edmonton Alberta. The Project is comprised of multiple roof sections for an approximate combined area of 37,299.85 sq. ft. The intent of this project is to remove the existing BUR roof system and replace with a new cold applied, upgraded, 3 ply conventional BUR roof system Ag-forestry Is a 5-storey building located on the North Campus of the University of Alberta, at approximately 96th Avenue and 115th street in Edmonton Alberta. The project is comprised of several low slope roof sections on multiple levels with an approximate combined area of approximately 19,100 sq. ft. The intent of his project is to replace the inverted fluid applied roofing system with an inverted EPDM/SBR system replacing the insulation and re-using the rock ballast and pavers Telus is a 2-storey building located on the North Campus of the University of Alberta, at approximately 98th Avenue and 111 Street in Edmonton Alberta. The project is comprised of 5 roof sections for a combined roof area of approximately 21,530 sq. ft. The intent of this project is to remove the loose laid conventional EPDM roofing system and replace it with a cold applied, upgraded, 3 ply conventional BUR roof system. South Campus Poultry Building is a single story building located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta at approximately 63rd avenue and 118 street in Edmonton Alberta. The project is comprised of one roof section with an approximate area of 13,567 sq. ft. The intent of this project is to the replace the inverted fluid applied roofing system with an inverted EPDM/SBR roofing system, replacing the insulation and re-using the rock ballast. Building Links, ETLC to Chem Materials and ETLC to Mechanical engineering. These two building links are attached to the ETLC building located on the North Campus of the University of Alberta at approximately 92nd avenue and 115th street in Edmonton Alberta. The project is comprised of two building links with a combined area of approximately 2000 sq. ft. The intent of this project is to remove the modified Bitumen membrane, and to replace with a cold applied, upgraded BUR membrane keeping the existing insulation. 2021-2023 Roof Program: Other potential projects that may be part of the up to 3 year prequalification period includes, ETLC, NREF, Medical Sciences, various links, various roof sections of Bio Sciences, and RE Phillips Buildings. The primary intended roofing program will included either a cold applied conventionally insulated upgraded BUR roof system or a cold applied insulated, ballasted, inverted EPDM/SBR. We also will be using a restorative coating (alphaguard bio) on some of the Modified Bitumen roofs. The potential building sites includes single storey and multi-storey tower structures located on any of the University of Alberta campuses. Other roofing work that may arise during the prequalification period may include localized repair or replacement of varying types of roof systems including modified bitumen, EPDM, TPA, PVC, shingles, and/or metal roof systems.
