Site work for a water / sewer project in West Union, West Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service.The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents.Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office Contract No. 1 - Furnishing all materials, labor, and necessary items for the construction and installation of approximately 8,130 LF of 8" water line, 18,335 LF of 6" water line, 445 LF of 2" water line, 875 LF of 1" service line, 1,9100 LFservice line, booster pump station, valves, fire hydrants and all other items and appurtenances as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. Contract No. 2 - Furnishing all materials, labor, and necessary items for the construction and installation of one (1) water storage tank including site clearing and grading, tank foundation, fencing, valve vault, 310 LF of 6" water line, connections, tank access road, rip rap ditches, telemetry and all other items and appurtenances as outlined in the Plans and Specifications. his work involves construction of the Doddridge County Public Service District's Blandville-West Union WaterlineExtension Project. This project includesthe construction of the water distribution system from the intersection ofU.S. Route 50 and WV Route 18 east along WV Route 18 to the community ofBlandville and the surrounding areas. The project involves the construction of one (1) booster pump station, one (1) water storage tank, eight through two inch water mains and includes all work designated in these specifications and as shown on the contract drawings.In cases where a work conflict exists between contract plans and specifications, the Contractor shall request a determination from the Engineer as to which shall govern. In cases where work has not been exactly detailed or specified, the Contractor will be required to useAddenda issued prior to the opening ofthe bid shall be incorporated and become part ofthe Contract Documents. The contract documents shall include copy of the "Certification of Receipt ofAddenda" signed by the contractor.The Contractor shall revise the construction schedule (Section 01300) on a monthly basis and submit it to the Engineer for outlaymanagement. The Contractor shall also revise the construction schedule as necessary ifconditions beyond the control ofthe Contractorjustify, and the Owner approves an extension ofthe contract tim materials and workmanship equal to and comparable to other work and materials specified,The work shall be done in full conformance with all acceptable codes, rules and regulations of the State ofWest Virginia and the municipalitiesin which the work is being performed and all applicable federal and local regulations pertaining to health and safety, to wages, hours, and unemployment compensation; minoritybusiness enterprises; and to liability, liens and claims.Time ofBeginning, Completion and Schedule ofOperations:The construction times shall be as set forth in the agreement. for the project. In all cases, material and workmanship shall meet or exceed all established codes or standards listed in Section 01090, Reference Standard Ifthe Contractor, for his convenience and at his own expense, should desire to carry on his work at night or outside regular hours (in excess of 40 hours per week), he shall submit an application to the Engineer and he shall allow ample time for satisfactory arrangements to be made for inspecting the work in progress. If permission is granted for such work, the Contractor shall light the different parts of the project asrequired and in a manner satisfactory to the Engineer and comply with all applicable regulations. The Contractor shall reimburse the Owner for any additional expenses for inspection ofthe Contractor's work performed outside regular hours. These expenses include, but are notrestrictedto, direct labor costs, overhead,any delays caused by the rate ofprogress ofthe work to be performed by others under sections of this contract or other contracts, and that in the event he is delayed in prosecution and completion ofhis work because ofsuch conditions, he shall have no claim for damages or contract adjustment, other than an extension of time andThe Contractor shall be responsible for providing the water, heat, and powerrequired for performance ofwork waiving ofliquidated damages during the period oftime occasioned by such delay and profit related to the Inspector's activitie Bid Result : contract 1 - STONEGATE CONSTRUCTION, INC. - $ 1,545,225.00 contract 2 - STONEGATE CONSTRUCTION, INC. - $ 313,475.00
