Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a road / highway in Ajax, Ontario. Design plans call for paving for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; and for site work for a road / highway.
Harwood Avenue widening (4-lane urban cross section), from Taunton Road to Woodcock Avenue. Addition of traffic signals at intersection of Haskell Avenue and Harwood Avenue and widening the road accommodate four lanes of traffic, plus turning lanes. Multi-use path to connect with the existing path. New LED streetlights. TIMELINE: Design is ongoing. A Public Information session is planned for June 9, 2026. Construction has been tentatively scheduled for Q3 2027. Utility relocation and stormwater improvements to accommodate the road widening is anticipated to commence in 2026. Updates on design may be available late 2026.
