SCOPE OF WORK The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for the project listed below. The proposed work for this project is located on 3rd Street, from Garfield Street to Indian School Road. The 3rd Street project will aim to improve traffic circulation, increase safety and mobility for pedestrians and bicyclists by implementing a new lane configuration that consists of one lane in each direction with a center turn lane, in addition to adding bicycle lanes on both sides of the street. The scope of work includes asphalt pavement replacement, microsurfacing and crack seal, concrete sidewalk and curb ramps, streetlighting, landscaping and irrigation, traffic signals, and other ancillary items. Signing and pavement markings will be completed by City forces. A Small Business Enterprise goal of 14% has been established for this project.
