Renovation of an educational facility in Farmville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project is generally described as the demolition and removal of the existing roof systems as required to expose the existing structural deck. The work includes providing a completely, function, and watertight new elastic membrane roofing systems including all insulation (polysio rigid and sloped insulation), membrane, flashings, metal flashings, gutters and downspouts, and related component parts for the EPDM rubber roof areas. Replacement will include, temporarily removing and replacing existing HVAC units, extending and replacing condensate and refrigerant lines, addition of a Lightning Protection system, removing abandoned equipment and skylights, and providing appropriate roof deck infill. The goal of the Project is to provide a complete and watertight roof system over all roof areas indicated to receive the new systems.
