General construction in support of a new on-road bicycle trail network throughout the City of Johnstown. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of Cambria County Conservation and Recreation Authority, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder, and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid for the Jim Mayer Riverwalk Trail project shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, and certificate of insurance prior to the award of the contract. Work under this contract is subject to the requirements of the PA Prevailing Wage Act. The PA Prevailing Wage Rates applicable to this Contract are included. All requests for information shall be submitted via PennBid by or before 5:00 p.m. local prevailing time on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Requests for information will not be accepted after 5:00 p.m. on May 8, 2024. Bids may be held by Cambria County Conservation and Recreation Authority for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the Contract. Cambria County Conservation and Recreation Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
