Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Birmingham, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for paving for a transportation facility; and water / sewer project.
Project consists of the grading and drainage improvements inside the Runway Safety Area of Runway 18 at Birmingham Shuttlesworth International Airport in Birmingham, AL. The Runway will be closed for the entirety of the 35-day project duration. The project site encompasses 10 acres of grassed area adjacent to the Runway 18 threshold. This area requires re-grading to bring the elevations and slopes into Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 139 compliance.
